Your Hosts Angela comes from Inverness, and Finlay is from the Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides where they make the famous Harris Tweed. Finlay used to help weave Harris Tweed on the family croft and both are more than happy to share their local knowledge of surrounding areas and further afield with you.
Logan Cottage is one of Inverness’s traditional cottages built in 1877,which has been loving restored to its former glory and is in an excellent location whether you stay is pleasure or business; you are just a few minutes on foot from the city centre.
The location of Logan Cottage offers you the option of quietness and peacefulness to help you recharge your batteries; be that with a gentle walk or cycle,exploring the Beautiful River Ness that flows from the famous Loch Ness and it’s Monster, to the Caledonian Canal built by Thomas Telford all just a few minutes away from the Cottage. Or if you want someone else to take the strain or exploring and to take you of a tour of this wonderful part of the world then we highly recommend iT Tours, then you can sample our many fine Whiskies and enjoy a “Dram” as you go.
